In a recently published study in the journal Nature, researchers found that during adolescence IQ can be increased by as much as 20% or more with proper lifestyle (diet, supplements, mental and physical exercises). Previous studies have indicated that IQ can also be improved in adults.
According to the study learning and exercising the brain and the body are major ways to increase IQ. This can be as simple as exercise regularly, reading books, solving puzzles, learning a new language, learning how to perform a new task, writing with your opposite hand etc. IQ may be improved through following healthy diet, eating healthy foods as well as supplementing to avoid any deficiencies. Brain boosting foods include:
  • Fatty cold water fish such as salmon
  • Lean organic free range beef, and poultry
  • Berries (especially blueberries)
